How we think about AI and the principles that guide how we use it.
AMG AI Solutions is built on the belief that AI should be used honestly, transparently, and in ways that genuinely help people and businesses. This page explains how we think about AI and the principles that guide how we use it in our work.
We’re not a large enterprise with a formal AI governance committee. We’re a small operation run by one person who uses AI tools every day and thinks carefully about how they should and shouldn’t be used. These principles reflect that reality.
We don’t oversell AI. We’ve seen what happens when companies are sold AI solutions they’re not ready for — wasted money, frustrated teams, and no real change. We believe in honest conversations about what AI can realistically do for a specific business at a specific stage of readiness.
When we use AI tools in our work, we tell you. We don’t pretend that AI-assisted outputs are purely human-generated work.
AI tools are powerful but imperfect. We maintain human review and judgment on any work product that will be used to make consequential business decisions. We do not recommend that clients rely solely on AI outputs for critical decisions without independent verification.
Our agentic workflows are designed with human-in-the-loop checkpoints where appropriate — the system acts, then reports what it did, and a human reviews before the next step.
When we build AI workflows for clients, we take data privacy seriously. We prefer private AI infrastructure (like the NVIDIA GH200 build documented on this site) over public AI APIs when sensitive business data is involved. We advise clients on the risks of shadow AI — employees using public AI tools with company data without authorization — and help them build appropriate policies and infrastructure.
We do not share client data with AI vendors without explicit authorization.
We do not build or deploy AI systems designed to deceive people about their nature. AI voice agents and chatbots we build are designed to be transparent about what they are when directly asked. We believe in AI that augments human interaction, not AI that impersonates humans without disclosure.
We recognize that AI models can reflect and amplify biases present in their training data. We take reasonable steps to review AI outputs for potential bias before using them in client-facing work, particularly in areas like hiring, customer communications, and performance evaluation.
The AI landscape changes fast. We stay current with developments in AI capabilities, risks, and best practices — not just to use the latest tools, but to understand their implications. Our NVIDIA Connect program membership gives us access to technical resources and a community of practitioners thinking seriously about these questions.
As a member of the NVIDIA Connect program, we adhere to NVIDIA’s partner guidelines and acceptable use policies for NVIDIA hardware, software, and model resources. We use NVIDIA tools responsibly and in accordance with their intended purpose.
NVIDIA Connect program membership does not imply NVIDIA’s endorsement of AMG AI Solutions’ products, services, or views.
If you have questions about how we use AI in our work, or concerns about any AI-related practices described here, we welcome the conversation.
